1 teaspoon ground white pepper

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

450g diced beef

1 cup bean sprouts, trimmed

16 large fresh mint leaves

2 small lemons, each cut into 6 wedges
- 16 small pre-soaked bamboo skewers
- Preheat a large chargrill pan over medium-high heat. Combine salt, white pepper, black pepper and oil in a glass or ceramic bowl. Add beef. Toss to coat. Thread beef and onion onto skewers..
- Chargrill skewers, turning, for 5 minutes for medium or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a tray. Cover loosely with foil. Stand for 5 minutes to rest.
- Meanwhile, place lettuce leaves, in a single layer, on a large serving platter. Top each with bean sprouts and mint.
- To serve, place 1 beef skewer on top of each lettuce leaf. Serve with lemon wedges.
